Born in the countryside of Jamaica, MashMuzik was immersed in music from an early age. From Country, R&B and Reggae songs his mom played while doing housework to the taxi drivers who competed against each other with their car stereo systems. When he came to the U.S. the experience continued. He challenged himself to learn how to become a disc jockey, but it wasn't until after high school that he became proficient in the craft, obtaining numerous residencies in his current state, Connecticut. He also works as a sound engineer and disc jockey for United Audio Productions, providing sound and lighting services for venues in the tri-state area. The quest continues today as he brings his exclusive sound an eclectic mix of music of all genres to a stage near you.
